YouthBuild

YouthBuild is a real opportunity for at risk youth to receive the skills and knowledge they need to build a better life for themselves.

A college and career preparation program, YouthBuild uses the latest training curriculum to provide classroom and hands-on experience in both the construction and medical fields. Participants earn nationally recognized certificates while participating in classes and real world work activities. Members also participate in volunteer work days, where they learn the value of giving back to their community.

YouthBuild members are paid while they learn and work to improve themselves, their future, and their communities.

 

YOU’LL RECEIVE HANDS-ON JOB TRAINING.

You’ll rotate through classroom and hands-on training in the field. By working on real-world projects and volunteering to serve your community, you’ll gather experience that will give you an advantage when you start looking for your first career job.

 

YOU’LL RECEIVE HELP IN OTHER WAYS AS WELL.

You will have access to mental health, drug and alcohol counseling as well as medical and dental care. YouthBuild is also a member of the Ohio Benefits Bank.
